INTERACTIONS is a three-day, global conference designed to help Interactive Intelligence product users and Partner organizations learn about new version releases, product upgrades, training, supplemental applications and hardware.

Each year, the conference materials are redesigned to give the event a fresh, dynamic look. For 2014, the theme was “Create the experience”.

The look and feel consists of bold rectangular blocks in solid, corporate-approved conference colors. Sketches and brush marks replace the 2013 paint splatters, implying a more deliberate mark, or purposely “creating”. Some marks may stray outside the lines (“thinking outside the box”), because rules must be broken in order to innovate.

Simple, bold quotes referencing creativity, innovation and the customer experience are incorporated amongst the blocks in (literally) white space, again using the Roboto font, corporate gold (PMS131) and similar block-style formatting, but in a more natural sentence case rather than all caps as in 2013. The INTERACTIONS 2014 logo and tagline are incorporated into a colored block, in the original coloration (PMS131 and dark gray from the corporate palette) where practical, using white or black when needed for readability.
